These photos show real progress and to those of us not familiar give a good understanding of the project. I take it the each of the concrete sections in the pillars are poured in situ. Is that correct?

Yes they are built in situ. A creeping shutter, mold, is filled with concrete and when set it rises further up, more concrete and rises again so it is a continuous solid beam.
