They have started installing the suspension cables to the road section on the towers. Thanks for the photos Brian,they show how much work is going into the new bridge.I myself keep checking the Halton Borough website for updates,put your photo's along with some of the other Meercats photographs and it all becomes clear,thank you to all the guys putting the photo's on here. Frank.

Frank. Yes, I echo vanguard's comments - who knew there was so much to building a bridge! The photos really bring the process to life and I feel they could be used like an IKEA instruction manual should I ever build one myself. 😀

Ron, the steel work on the machine is lower that the concrete will be on the finished bridge but it will be interesting when they start to actually cross the bridge in a month or so. Regards Beemer.
