Oct/nov '83 saw 3 intrepid MAS members and 1 hanger on head Stateside for a 4 week tour which included the boneyard at Davis-Monthan.

Back then you got off the bus and the health and safety briefing went something like:
"Don't walk in to anything and watch out for scorpions and rattlesnakes"

These were scanned on an Acer Scanwit 2720S, which unfortunately is not going to work on the new Windows 7 PC I now have

Found a few more starting with a pair of OA-37s from the bus:


One of 30 aircraft modified to T-Stick II with additional avionics. These F-105Ds were retired from the 457th TFS of the Air Force Reserve at Carswell AFB in Texas.
