Thanks for those kind words Frank. Peter and I try to do our best.It is now beginning to take shape as a bridge with the suspension cables being installed. It is well worth a visit to see the action close up. The only down fall is when it's finished you have to pay to use it. The same goes for the old Silver Jubilee bridge after that has had a years worth of refurbishment so you won't be able to nip across that to avoid paying the toll. Regards Beemer.

Thanks for that Brian,i normally check the Halton Councils web site for progress of the bridge and for road diversions.Combined with yours and Peters photo's it all makes sense,if you live in the Halton area you don't pay the toll do you, thanks again Brian. What is impressive is how they got that yellow crane on the bridge platform. There must be some weight in that. Dave

Gents
This is one of the best timeline threads of a construction project I've seen. I do hope this thread can be secured as an archive of history for future generations. Credit to you all, brilliant photographs.

Credit to you all, brilliant photographs. Dave Dave First of all let me thank you for the comments you passed regarding the effort both Brian and myself have done posting the photo's of the bridge development. I remember the Jubilee Bridge being erected and the way things have progressed as regards building never ceases to amaze me, flat caps and scaffolding with planks was the order of the day in the 50s. As regarding your comment as to an archive of the building of the bridge here is a list of what I have done since the start in 2014 on both the road works and the bridge.
Starting 16th July 2014 7 sets of photo's 4th Feb 2015 17 sets 24th Jan 2016 27 sets All backed up and stored.
Thanks again
Peter
