Hello Folks The airfield was closed due ice on the runway for most of last week so a bit of a thaw and some nice light got me itching to take some photos of anything that came within range. First up was a Warton based Hawk T1A XX321 ‘Tarnish 14’ which had been low level in the Lakes. I got just over a minutes notice of this ‘fly through’ along runway 23. The based P92 G-OALH flew locally in the afternoon. The only BAE Submarines flight of the day was G-CDFY inbound from Farnborough just before sunset illuminated with some gorgeous light from the low sun. For anyone interested I have compiled an active residents list for Walney. Those aircraft noted this year are annotated ‘current’. These are excellent photos. Would you allow me to copy some of them and distribute within my group of freinds. (Not for commercial use.) Ron Turner.
