Work Experience

Guys, I wondered whether you can help,

My son who is 15 has do a week’s work experience in June and wants to follow a career in the Aviation Industry of which is his main interest

Is there any companies at the airport that I could contact that may be interested in an extra pair of hardworking hands for a week do anything as long as it is at the airport

My son is at Wirral Grammar School and is sitting his GCSE,s this year

Any help or contacts would be appreciated to show him that Fathers can still be useful!!

I am only 15 myself. I have completed my work experience. You CAN NOT do work experience within the terminal, unless you have a family member working in the airport.

But on the other hand, smaller companies allow you to do work experience. I done mine with Ravenair last June, it was amazing!! Even got a flight in G JANV ( Blue Leerjet) to Inverness and back, as well as flights in other aircraft.

harry my son did some work experiance with servisair a couple of years ago and got alot out of it. Why not try serco at hawarden they might have something in the tower. or chester handling might be able to help.
