There is a nice pic of OK-CTP at Cardiff yesterday prior to departure for Hawarden on Jetphotos.net (not sure if it's ok to link to that here). Apparently delivered new on 24 Jan - brand spanking new

As a general rule linking to text or photo on another site is fine, indeed encouraged as there is no problem, any copyright/intellectual ownership remains with that site, as it is just a line of code, not the text/image that appears here, the link takes you to the original. Just as I, as Admin, have no beef with others linking to nwan forum.
It is when text, but more particularly photos are copied from one site, then 'cut and pasted' on to another website/forum that there is an issue, unless permission has been sought and granted. Having your work 'stolen' from a site is annoying, especially so when the re-posted photo is then claimed as the work of the person who has done the copying and pasting and this has happened occasionally from nwan in the past. Copying a Press release in full, as on the LJLA Developments Section is fine as that document is intended to be copied and used by others to spread the information. Once the information is used on a News site it is covered by copyright, so best linked rather than pasted.
When I am posting photos that I know not to be my work, I always try and provide due credit clearly, however there are some images from many years ago where the original photographer is now obscure, these I cover as 'NWAN collection' or whatever source is appropriate. I feel a duty to acknowledge the original photographer, or at least the source.
Not rules, but I hope this clarifies the opinion of site Admin. Indeed, generally nwan members are very good at using common sense regarding posting images, although it does surprise me how many original images are not ownership identified on the image or watermarked in some way (even though this can be annoying to the viewer)!
