Hello Folks This afternoon was my first venture into the hills of Cumbria for 2010. I had a very cold four hours in Dunmail Raise which is just north of Grasmere. There wasn't much to show for it, just a Valley based Hawk and a 1 Squadron Harrier. The Harrier callsign "COT21" routed high level via DENBY and FIWUD working London Mil on 277.625Mhz and descended into low level in the Morecambe Bay area with Warton Radar 129.525Mhz. I hope this low level stuff is of interest to the forum? Cheers Shaun

Thanks for the comments Ian and Owensy.
Ian. I was interested to hear that you saw it on your radarbox. I guess he dropped off your radar when it descended below line of sight from Runcorn. Do you pick up much military stuff over the south lake district?
Cheers
