Very interesting. When I've seen satellite through binoculars there very small and traveling at immense speed. The photo is taken at night so a time exposure will have been required. If this is light reflecting off a satellite it must be in a fixed orbit i.e. traveling at the same speed as the earth. Also for the aurora's light to reflect off it it must be further away from the earth than the aurora. So, the object in question must be over 150 miles away, yet is larger than a house window but then again is probably a trick of the light.

It has certainly caused great interest in the star gazer and UFO world.
