Bearing in mind it is the Grand National this weekend I was thinking of investigating this sighting while in the area.
Have had a good look on Google for Laser Combat, and Google Earth but cannot find a Wessex.
There are two industrial estates, and it looks difficult to pinpoint the location.
Moreover if you visit the Laser Combat website and look at the photo gallery, they also have a fuselage of what looks like a Beechcraft Baron !

It would appear that the Wessex is a very recent arrival, so will not show on Google Earth as the images are usually a couple of years old.

Brian I was using the satellite version of FR24 on my PC - the Google Earth imagery date at the bottom was 2017. It's a little bit akin to finding a needle in a haystack. If you are a member of that forum is it possible to ask the author for a more precise location? Regards Martin.

The Wessex is XS885.
From the location, I took a trip down there last night and if you turn onto Park Lane West, and turn down the small road immediately by the Petrol Station it should be visible, alternatively if you drive into the flooring supply centre road you should be able to see it from there.

Hi This is the view from the road off Park Lane West (next to the petrol station), the gate at the end was locked but I think this might be the entrance image by ian531531, on Flickr This is from The Flooring Centre on Dunnings Bridge Road - taken from their car park - they did come and ask what I was doing, but seemed OK image by ian531531, on Flickr Ian

Is the `Royal Navy School of Flight Deck Operations` the old School of Aircraft Handling at Culdrose?
What does the `DD` on the tail rotor signify?

Wow, I drive past that way on a fairly regular basis to/from work (including tonight in the nightmare National traffic queue), but haven't spotted it from the main road (Dunningsbridge), must go and investigate post national-weekend.

Not sure what the "DD" represents but seem to recall seeing on their Sea Harriers too.
Edit: Pure guess but could be the "Dummy Deck" of an Invincible class carrier used at Culdrose for training?
