Hi Delta1011,
Last time I visited Milan was for the "spotters weekend" at Malpensa in Sept 2008 with Daz Kellett. Certainly worth looking out for this event, full day airside/ramp access etc.
If doing all 3 airports you really need a car.
Malpensa
Best place is inside Terminal 1, facing the aprons turn right and head towards a shopping area. You will find a MacDonalds and a Benneton shop. A wide passageway behind the shop gives views to runways and most T1 gates. A walk outside to each end of T1 gives views of hangars and some of cargo.
Linate
2 areas really, the road to Linate village has a few areas where most biz jets can be read (it was Italian F1 GP weekend when we were there!). Carry on and there are some parking areas where good landing shots are possible but terminal is out of sight.
The second place is the infamous cemetery car park, follow the road around the end of 36R and bear left into an industrial area. The car park is next to the taxy way so all movements can be seen.
Bergamo
Roof of 2 level car park is ok but don't hang around too long! Head east (with terminal on left), the road goes under the main autostrada then double back towards a small industrial area. Car park here gives good runway views. Carry on around the airfield and you will come to the GA area, this is also the best place to see some of the semi stored MiniLiner aircraft.
Hope this helps,
GC
