Top photos 'Elevation76'. I had forgot just how good looking the VC10 in BOAC colours was, thats the pick of the bunch for me. Similar era to this would be my favourite colour scheme of all time and that was the Air Spain DC-8, did you ever shoot any?
Cheers

Why don't they do a scheme like that these days and i never got a pick of one! .....we should start a bring back Court Line campaign! Noticed in the TAS shop at the AVP that there are some 1/200 scale Court Line 1-11 models, but that would need another mortgage!
Cheers for the link.

Great shots Guys I remember the CP Air 747 & DC-10 and was lucky enought to fly on them viviting my family in Canada. Talking of colour, anybody rememeber the Court Line BAC 1-11's (Pink, Yellow & Mauve)?

I love that picture where you can see people on the terraces.
That was the great thing about Ringway in years past, to be able to stand above and look directly into the cockpit of the parked aircraft.
I remember one Saturday we popped along for a quick visit, and as we got to the top of the stairs at Pier 1 ( domestic pier ) there was a PAN AM 747 SP looking down on us from the end of it.
There had been fog at Heathrow and a lot of stuff had been diverted to Ringway.
