Hello guys and girls In early September I`m taking part in the Royal British Legion`s annual Pedal to Paris charity ride. That`s London to Paris, all 300 miles of it,in 4 days.God help me. As someone who`s spent the greater part of his adult life actively avoiding physical exercise this really is a big deal!! Anyway, its for a good cause.Kids my son`s age getting mutilated in some bloody desert to make us all safer here(apparently). September seems a long way off right now but I`m committed to raising £1000 in sponsorship so I`m starting early. How about it folks/fellow spotters/anybody!! If you would like to sponsor me please check out the URL first and satisfy yourself that its a cause you`re happy with: www.britishlegion.org.uk/support-us/poppybikethen leave a message here. I`ve already been vocably knocked-back by one anti-war zealot Thanks Gareth Symington, centre of the universe,Garston

I will support you. I am anti war too, if it was up to me, Tony Blair and his mates would be impeached for their actions in getting us into these wars without any real justification. None of this takes away my thanks and admiration for the way our military, mostly youngsters, are carrying out their tasks. Thanks for making the effort to do something. Rt

As a keen cyclist I would love to join you--only age and common sense prevents my participation. I will certainly sponsor you. Its a sad comment that the only political party that has dedicated itself to bringing our troops home is the BNP--they reckon that the whole of Afghanistan is not worth ONE British life and they would stop our participation in Blair's poodle venture immediately. Sounds good to me.

I have set up an on-line means of registering your sponsorship at www.bmycharity.com/V2/wadoki Don`t worry about the `we suggest £25`bit,I`d be happy with anything!!If you don`t fancy doing it this way I have a good old fashioned piece of paper that you can fill in.
