Very similar design to the new Queensferry Crossing on the firth of forth. In that location they have used new methods of avoiding carriageway crosswind turbulence. They had an interesting location for a portaloo www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-35588614Stopped off once at Humber Bridge and had a walk in the visitor park path which leads underneath the carriageway, now that is amazing engineering. The size is just astounding. The weather was awful raining and windy but Well worth a look as you could see the carriageway swaying in the wind above you.

They have started to install louvre slatted fence to counteract the winds that must batter it some time of the year. When they built the old Kingsway (Runcorn) bridge it had to be a certain distance away from the old railway bridge as turbulence created from the westerly winds could damage the structure. Beemer.
