If you take that story on face value then its a A320 to the island and not a A319!

Equally if you look at the photo used with the IoM Press Clip (as linked from lfc84's Post) then they are using a Boeing 737 - which means the link is with Belfast, Luton or Newcastle (although I suspect Luton has now largely converted onto A.319). The photo used is of a Boeing 737-300, which are no longer flown by EasyJet - so is out of date!!
I don't think there are actually any clues given - other than a day, date and even time for an official announcement! My speculative expectation is Gatwick or Amsterdam, with Geneva or Paris as possibles, rather than Liverpool - despite the reaction of Flybe.
There has already been much comment/speculation etc on this subject on another long-running thread 'EasyJet CEO/Liverpool' on this section of the BB. Indeed the discussion and post continue on that thread ........................
