Hello Folks I spent a very chilly afternoon on top of Great How situated at the North end of Thirlmere hoping to photograph some ‘grey, fast pointy things’. There was plenty of activity during the afternoon but only two presented themselves in front of my lens. Others were: Harrier (un-identified), 4 x Hawks (XX194, XX278, XX321 + 1), Tucano (ZF290) and a further 13 Squadron GR4. First up (my first GR4 this year!). Marham Wing GR4A ZA369 in 13 Squadron markings and complete with 2250 Ltr 'Hindenburger' drop tanks. This was one of two RAF jets marked up last year to celebrate 40 years of Panavia …markings now removed ….Doh!! These Tucano seem so slow after seeing the jets, but none the less welcome of course. ZF377 from Linton 1 FTS. Cheers Shaun
