Here is the list of which terminal each airline will be using as of next Tuesday:

Terminal 2 AER LINGUS EASYJET SWITZERLAND AEROFLOT FLYBE AIR TRANSAT IBERWORLD ANDALUS KUWAIT AIRWAYS BMI MONARCH AIRLINES BLUE AIR RYANAIR BMIBABY THOMAS COOK UK BULGARIA AIR THOMSON AIRWAYS EASYJET TRANSAERO

So unless you are flying on British airline, other than BA, you don't get to use the new terminal. However both piers B and C in T2 will now be available, which should mean less remote parking and bussing.

Having passed in and out of Malaga in the last week, here is a brief update on the present chaos.
Whilst airlines that have been "allocated" as staying in terminal 2, require you to check in there, you then have to walk to terminal 3 to go through security and enter the shopping and eatery/watering mall of the new terminal. All the shops, duty free, cafes and restaurants in T2 have been closed, apart from the cafe at the bottom of pier B and the one half way up pier C. Both piers B & C now have passport control as you enter from the main terminal. Please remember that pier B is quite a walk from the security area in T3, so give yourself enough time. Worth remembering, as pier B appears to have been allocated to Easyjet.
On arriving into pier B, you will take the old downstairs route to the old T2 baggage reclaim. If you arrive on pier C, you come out at the join of T2 and T3, then find your luggage will be in the old T2 bagage reclaim.
When you have collected your bags, you will find that the exit from T2 has now been closed, so you must walk into T3 to exit the terminal from there.
The new train station is still not open, so if your onward journey is by train, you must then walk back the whole length of T 2 & T3 to get to the old station via the car park.
Also be aware that the new baggage trollies fit into the grooved floor of the travelators and once locked in, you cannot push them...you must travel slowly at the speed of the belt......and two of the travelators were out of action already, and being worked on last Sunday.
Oh yes. One more point. BA flights, whilst checking in at T3, leave from pier C in T2.
So if you are coming to Malaga you have been forewarned of the present situation.
T2 is now to be refitted internally, so things should gradually improve.
