Came across this. Its the worlds only flying small sized Constellation. After years of restoration work It was flown from the USA to the Netherlands in 2002. It was then painted in KLM colours before being grounded with engine problems in 2004. However, the Korean Air museum donated two airworthy engines and Hey Presto! ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Q9LDAVDy0w

;D Brilliant photos as usual.
Great vid. of the Connie.
Sadly I never saw enough of them when they were in service--just the odd one--did see a couple of Lufthansa Starliners though--beautiful and catlike as they silently landed. One of the 2 that I saw is being restored--now that's something to look forward to.--thank you Lufthansa.
As for the Globemaster--God they shook the houses in StHelens during the Korean war when they left Burtonwood fully loaded.
Whats the Blenheim doing there?-under the tail in photo 6 ?
Like the Privateer--another one I missed.
You have a super collection of very interesting shots please keep them coming.

It was bad enough when you moved to deepest Wiltshire.LOL
Are you trying to tell me something?
