All taken early morning on 18/12/2010 with my trusty Nikon D70 ,as the battery lasts 3000 shots per charge at least, it has an electronic shutter and the only one I trusted for the job in such harsh conditions aside from my Nikon FM. Temp around -4C All photos resized at 1600 pix wide on the longest side, around 2 megapixels per image. By the time I was finished, I had a better understanding of what really numb fingers and serious brain freeze felt like Maghull, View from Rutherford Bridge to Maghull Town Centre | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, View from Rutherford Footbridge to Melling | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, Station Rd. | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull Railway Station. | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, St Andrews Church. | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull Hall Lane Swing Bridge. | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, Canal Toe Path Hall Lane | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, Little Acre.L31. | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, Brooklands Drive | by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Maghull, Merseyside, UK. Perhaps the Maghull tourist info would be interested in these shots. Must be cheaper than going to Canada for a holiday in the snow.

Great shots Mike - the last proper snowfall we had if my memory serves me right.

I would suggest last proper snow was March 13 2013. I know that date as it was the date my eldest son got married. They had chosen March as weather is always better then!!!, we watched all week in disbelief that it was going to snow and then overnight it did. Absolutely freezing but it was the true white wedding. Always dressed for the occasion my Niece!!! IMG_0148 by Clive Harden, on Flickr IMG_0132 by Clive Harden, on Flickr
