Two articles of interest in the paper today relating to aviation.
One concerned a school which has purchased with a grant of £20000 the remains of a Short 360 for use as a class room, apparently it was cheaper than buying a porta type classroom for the kids, this will be fitted out with white boards and desks etc.
The 360 pictured was G-SSWE which is shown in better condition on G-INFO web site.
The second article refered to the infamous little flying flee aircraft, that was famed for killing pilots quite often. A guy has built one to original spec but thankfully it wont get CAA permission to fly.
