Thanks chaps. Was a good few hours.
Lightning? Rained all day but no storms ;-) Saw enough lightnings at Valley to last me a lifetime. Ugly fuel guzzling tin cans.
More seriously, this wasn't like a Rolling Thunder day and the museum side of things wasn't open...it was to raise money for the Teabaggers and VC10. We couldn't increase the number of attendees and adding more aircraft would have diluted the financial support.
For people who like bananas and go to RIAT...one of those three will travel there next year for the static.

It's still not clear what scale of events can be run as the airfield activity is getting higher and stored cars encroaching further onto the runway. Dave Walton is still firmly behind allowing events.
