On the 3rd of March workers were busy replacing the signs to the entrances and road names. The last time they did it they didn't last long so quick as a flash I was down there to photograph them before they disappeared again. And a good job two as some only lasted a day. This is the entrance to Hurricane Drive. Road sign with the gun testing pit behind. Hurricanes would line up here to have there weapons calibrated during the WW11. The northern entrance to Dakota Drive. The southern end of Dakota Drive where it meets Garston Shore Road. The entrance to Garston Shore Road with EI-DLK (or was it DLR?) on short finals for 09. Heres another of it taken just three days later. Note the L and P are now missing from Liverpool. And finally closer view of the Garston Shore Road sign at the end of Dakota Drive. If anyone can confirm th ID of the Ryanair 738 landing at about 1330 hrs on the 3.3.10 I will alter the caption above accordingly. Enjoy Steve
