Surely not no de-icer after one cold night? Could it be that the runway wasnt kept clear enough of freezing slush, anyone know ? EZY statement at www.easyjet.com/en/flight-tracker/855was more general : Why your flight is delayed overnight:We're extremely sorry, due to the Isle of Man airport closing as a result of a de-icing issue we've had to delay your flight until tomorrow.

I understand that it was aircraft, not runway, de-icer. According to lunchtime news reports the handling agent went through as much de-icer yesterday as they would normally use in 2 years

Something is wrong here, either the reporting at 147-5433bc3297b05.radiocms.com/news/isle-of-man-news/flights-cancelled-due-to-lack-of-de-icer/or the Menzies handling of the situation. "The airport confirmed the news in a tweet, claiming handling agent Menzies went through a three-month supply of de-icer (which typically lasts for two years, given the amount of snow the Island has) in one day, thanks to the conditions." Thankfully the de-icing truck started this year! Question now is -if it freezes again tomorrow/Monday, will new supplies be on-island? "
