Looking at starting my next project soon but can't decide. So I was hoping you guys could help me on that. This is the list of kits that I have:-
Airfix 1/72 Nimrod
Airfix 1/72 Tornado GR.1 to be converted to GR.4 (X2) This will be RAF special schemes
Revell 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon (X3) These will be RAF special schemes
Chineese 1/72 Lynx HMA 8 will be the Blackcats display scheme
Airfix 1/72 Jaguar GR.1 will be from Operation Granby
Revell 1/72 B.1 Lancer
Airfix 1/72 Harrier

I've done a bit of digging on the Nimrod and I might leave it till the end. With what I have read it's not a great kit and there's a fair bit of work to do to bring it up to a decent level.

It can't be any worse than the 1/72 Revell Concorde surely I hated doing that one. I will wait to see what wins this time then. I'm bogged down on my Harrier at the moment due to moving house so god only knows when I'll get around to finishing it. Colin

I might just go for it as I have big plans for it. It seems to be a tendency that the bigger the kit the worse it is.

Couldn’t agree more Chris even with new tooled ones the problems seem greater the bigger the subject. The Airfix 1/72 Vulcan was another that needed large amounts of filler. Still the end results are normally worth it and a good paint job hides a multitude of sins 😂.

Yes, this will be the second Nimrod I've built but hopefully won't be as bad.
Thanks Groth that's the same kit as I will be building
