I wondered if it was a coincidence when M-ETAL became our third M- Avanti of the week when it paid a VERY brief (15 minute) visit just after lunch, beating the appalling weather - heavy rain and very strong gusty winds - which have already defeated Flybe and EasyJet, though not Eastern or, surprisingly, Stobart. M-ETAL departed in the direction of BLAKA and fellow Avanti M-GFGC has just headed off towards the TRN so I suspect they are connected.
Shortly behind M-ETAL was the Falcon 900 PH-LAU as "Kramer 044" heading off west to the, hopefully, more amenable climes of Barbados.
Citationjet 2 D-INOB remains getting very wet on the PJC apron.
Apparently EasyJet's Gatwick flight has been re-scheduled for 1600, by which time the wind is forecast to drop, fingers-crossed !
