I am wondering how accurate this programme is, I just checked a flight I saw crossing Wallasey and given the time delay reckoned it to be (which it was) 747-400, now radar virtuel ID`d it as Singapore Cargo flight 7883 travelling from Schiphol to Changi If this is correct my track showed it coming to Wal from Dublin direction then crossing Wal en route towards East Anglia. Seems a strange route from AMS to Singapore to me, or is this the scenic route any coments would be appreciated.

It's a certainly a very handy website to have around but there's no doubt that it goes haywire from time to time. Recently I've found that when clicking from aircraft to aircraft the data from your original selection keeps reappearing. Maybe it's me doing something wrong!
Another observation is that it seems a lot more stable using Firefox, I find it more or less unusable at work where we (unfortunately) persist with Internet Explorer.

No I have the same problem Md11, I use IE via laptop and find it quite jerky and slow at times, but taking it all into account it is cheaper than buying an SBS1 for the time being.

Just found similar programme to Virtuel Radar, its named FlightRadar24.com and works as VR but I have been using it with Firefox on my laptop it`s been far more stable. I went searching around the globe and together linked it with LIVEATC.NET and got engrossed in Sydney YSSY, superb tracking and listening to 4 A380 aircraft on approach.

I saw a bit in the Daily Mail today extolling the virtues of Virtuel Radar, which the journo had found on the net.
