Thanks to the helicopter 'heads up', down at 27 1350 to 1520. Quite an entertaining hour and a half.
G-EZFE A.319, EasyJet, departed 1406 as EZY722F EI-EKG B.737/8, Ryanair, departed 1412 as RYR6NZ ......... Hawk T.1, BAe Warton, G/A 09 at 1425, and tight right-hand turn out to route north up the Mersey, calling 'Tarnish 12'. Despite (me) being in position on the layby south abeam 27 threshold it turned inside me, so great photos of the underside!! Quite definately an old Hawk T.1 in standard RAF black scheme. G-EZTT A.320, EasyJet, departed 1430 as EZY167C EI-DWD B.737/8, Ryanair, departed 1431 as RYR1567? EI-DPW B.737/8, Ryanair, departed 1433 as RYR1FQ G-EZDX A.319, EasyJet, departed 1437 as EZY007D G-CDZM B.737/8, Thomson.com, arrived 1449 as TOM54P EI-EFO B.737/8, Ryanair, arrived 1510 as RYR62QL N324SH (also clearly marked as N139MT) AW.139, landed 1513 and parked on the GA apron. Shades of light silver-greys colour scheme. N324SH on boom, N139MT below rotor head, above cabin. EI-EFI B.737/8, Ryanair, arrived 1514 as RYR7642
F-GDSA/No.1 Beluga, south abeam the airfield 1517 turning into Hawarden.
With intense cu-nim showers passing through, and a wind shift to southerly the active runway was changing from 09 to 27 as I left.

Second visit of the day. I dropped a lens cap on the first - however the muddy pools are now so large in the heavy rain that I could not find it. If anyone is down in the morning and finds a 65mm Tamron lens cap in the GA car park mud - its mine, and I'll be down 11am to see whats happening.
The AW.139 still parked on the far side of the GA, nose onto the car park when I left at 1745. Active now 27.
..........KLM1042, problems on start up, departure delayed, certainly until after I had left, by which time it was an hour late. G-MAJD Jetstream 41, Eastern, landed 1703 E-DYV B.737/8, Ryanair, landed 1711 on RYR98QN G-EZDX A.319, EasyJet, landed 1721 on EZY7008 EI-DPW B.737/8, Ryanair, departed 1723 on RYR4026 G-CDEB Saab 2000, Eastern, arrived 1730 as EZE77M G-JECK Dash 8, FlyBe, departed 1744 as BEE4HX I left with EZY612 on finals 1745ish.
Whole load of new alpha-numeric call-signs to get used to.
