A quiet morning although several of the local residents took advantage of the fine weather to fly round the island. It picked up in the afternoon though with the arrival of Cirrus SR22 G-PHAB, followed by perhaps the best visitor of the year so far - PA18-95 Super Cub G-PIPR, both parking at W and looking like night-stopping. Shortly after, Cessna 182T G-CKCL paid a short visit to W, PA28-161 Warrior G-BSKW came across from Blackpool for an approach and go-round, and the St Marks resident Cessna 185 N185RH made several approaches and go-rounds before returning to its private strip.
Cessna 550 G-SPRE departed for Malaga as "Xclusivejet 2".
Noted overflying at 1000ft en-route to Aberdeen was Sikorsky S92A G-MCGJ as "Coastguard 937" - presumably off for maintenance so there may be a different one down covering the area with G-MCGK ?
