Wideroe advert appearing today on the on line Echo. I noticed the airport was also advertising Bergen Christmas Market on Twitter.

Reading this thread, and others. I get the impression that Wideroe are smarting as a result of poor performance by their new purveyor of flying machines. I hope these unfortunate events are swiftly resolved, permanently.

My Monday inbound flight times in Feb have changed to a morning departure instead of the evening flight. Looks like this has changed from late December.
Little disappointed as my Monday has gone from my trip, I’m guessing this will be better though for the returning football fans.

It was a charter operated by a Dash 8-Q400. Wideroe will be operating one of their Embraer 190s for Finnair on services from Helsinki to Berlin Tegel and Vienna from 15th December until the end of March 2019. Presumably this explains the use of the DHC-8-400 on services from Liverpool during that period?

I hope these unfortunate events are swiftly resolved, permanently. Their purveyor is certainly at fault in not providing support in the form of an additional aircraft, either one of their demo aircraft, or something leased. Throughout the problems with the ATP, we always managed to provide support to the operators.

Apparently Wideroe will change type to Dash 8 from Jan 2019, not sure of exact date though.

Apparently the change of times run from 18 Jan 2019 to 29 March 2019.
The change of aircraft runs from 21 Dec 2018 to 6 May 2019.

Well, I hope that the later departure time from Bergen will allow for connections from places such as Stavangar, which will hopefully improve passenger loads.

Just thought I'd add something here. Flew back from a conference in Bergen on Monday night into Man with SAS (booked long before the LPL route was announced) and the flight only had 29 people on it.
