Normal service is now resumed, after a very annoying 24 hours without internet. But it does mean that I'm a day late in posting photos, and not sure how best to keep them in sequence?
Anyway, here are the Red Arrows. Their display at Douglas was once again somewhat disappointing, although blessed with ideal weather. The problem is that the new display line regulations have forced them offshore beyond the two headlands at each end of Douglas Bay. So Douglas is really no longer a suitable venue for them, and I wonder if the previous (no longer used) venues of Ramsey, or Peel, would now give a better public spectacle?

The aircraft I identified were XX242, XX244, XX278, XX310, XX311, XX322, and XX325. Most, but not all, were wearing the "RAF 100" logo (also disappointing), and I suspect that some aircraft only had the logo on one side.
I was situated on the southern headland, Douglas Head, so basically 'side-on' to the display, because I wanted the extra height and closeness. Even so, all these photos are heavily cropped.
Thanks for looking.
