And an addition from today is that charges of £1 per visit to the loo has been announced by RYR, not only that he will also remove two loos from the aircraft`s 3 leaving only one per aircraft, thus enabling a further 6 seats to be fitted Let`s just hope the Norovirus never gets aboard a one loo aircraft.

No, Ryanair do not want you to travel light. They want you to travel with bags so they can make more money.

Are you sure this isn't a joke? How would they comply with Health & Safety Regulations if they were to do that or don't these apply to aircraft?

Would it be allowable to buy a seat for your baggage? It might be cheaper, and especially if your bag could have a carry on allowance too?
Another idea, which I reckon Ryanair are discussing right now, following this week's other news, is whether or not the headline fares should relate only to dead people, and if you just happen to be alive a need a seat rather than a space on the floor in the hold, you pay an "optional" fee of some amount to sit in the passenger cabin.

........not sure if this has come to light yet, but I think the charging for the loos and removing seats would only be for short haul flights of less than 2 hrs (might have been 1 hr), thereby encouraging everyone to go in the terminal before they get onboard. That said, it would be interesting to see what happens when they have to allocate an airframe that has been modified for 1 loo to a longhaul (more than 2 hrs in this case) flight as a result of unserviceability. I dread to think how mums will cope with kids who need the loo!!!
