Croatia Abandoned Hotels

Hi

Just further round the coast from our hotel is Kupari. This was a holiday resort for the Yugoslavian Army. It was bombed and burned by them when the war broke out. The Croatian Army moved in 1998 and stayed for 3 years, after that it's been just left. It originally had 5 hotels on the site

Now it is open for anybody to wonder around

Saw similar in Bulgaria years ago but they were sealed and had duct pipes going into them to circulate air ready for them to be used again if needed...great photos...very eerie looking though.......
