Hi
well I have booked my first flight on Ryanair since they used 1-11s.
I was astounded at the extra charges for placing baggage in the hold so I started hubting around for the biggest bag possible that meets the cabin baggage requirements.
I found a bargain in Dunelm Mill. Ryanair say the max size of cabin carry-on is 55x40x20. In Dunelm I bought a 51x40x20 that comes with trolley wheels and telescopic handle for £9.99.
I thought this may be useful to the Ryanair frequent flyers on the forum.

However don't forget Ryanair have a 10 kg weight limit on hand baggage.
Also remember security restrictions on hand baggage with liquids, sharps etc
It's not all as simple as making do with hand baggage only!

I think Eazy held out for about 6 months after Ryanair announced the baggage charge but its been in for several months now. I think other LoCos are following suite.
