This might be a longshot but can any of the forum members help out with this request ? On sunday 15th August 1999 I flew from manchester to kos with Caledonian airways the flight number was CKT 0428 boarding time 01.45, the flight actually took off at 03.00, from this information is it possible to obtain the aircraft registration ?

Idlewild. Sorry, but while the paper nwan magazines for the period covered Manchester movements in some depth, they did not cover the based British I/T or scheduled operators at all, with the exception of first visits by an aircraft. If you had flown on an aircraft with a non-British airline, inclusive tour charter or scheduled then it would have been recorded. I've looked but there is no clue, not even a mention of Caledonian Tristars in August 1999. The movements published in 'Winged Words' by TAS were from the same source, with the same basic information.
Maybe someone has a personal log for that day, but that is a real long-shot.

viscount. Thank you for taking the time to try and find the registration I was after, I thought it would be a long shot, may be someone will come up with it.
