The source of this release is very interesting. Obviously Jet Republic are using the reduced flights as a marketing tool for their own business - fair enough, but it's interesting that they say 'London airports' - I'd like to see a breakdown LHR/LGW/STN/LTN. A fair number of these must be locos, and their customers are hardly likely to take a serious look at fractional ownership. In the midst of this, LBA and DTV are losing their BMI flights to Heathrow, and there is a lot of crying into beer on their forums. Rumours that they may pull off MAN/LHR too. Well, we lost our connection to Heathrow many years ago, and then of course VLM tried LCY, so we've been there, done that and got two t-shirts, which proves that connections to London aren't the be-all and end-all. I'd much rather have the AMS flight!
