I've just noticed the following notam which appears to mimic similar ones issued around the xmas/new year period, although I didn't hear of any gliding actually taking place ? "H1400/10 - GLIDING ACTIVITY WI 2NM RADIUS 5335N 00303W (WOODVALE AD,LANCASHIRE). SITE OPR OUTSIDE PUBLISHED HR. AUS 10-05-0272/AS2. SFC - 2000FT AMSL, HJ, 22 MAY 00:00 2010 UNTIL 31 MAY 23:59 2010. CREATED: 10 MAY 09:03 2010" Does anyone have any further info ref below which was posted in the april log and refers to this coming Friday ? ....Note.... May 14TH...100 years of flying at Formby/Freshfields Sands...Special event..Might be some flypast from various aircraft... Neg G ;D

The Centenary Flypast along the Freshfield/Formby beach at 1515 featured the following aircraft, in order of departure from Woodvale:
G-CGKP, G-CGKT & G-CGKU formation of Grobs G-BCSL DHC-1 Chipmunk black colours WK624 (G-BWHI) DHC-1 Chipmunk red/white training colours FX301 (G-TXAN) T-6G Texan silver with yellow T-bands G-AJKB Luscumbe 8E Silvaire blue G-BYFM Jodel DR.1050 white with thin cheat lines G-FKNH PA-15 Vagabond yellow G-BSVH J-3c-65 Cub yellow
The Grobs, red & white Chipmunk, Vagabond and Cub all recovered to Woodvale afterwards.
G-DONS PA-28RT Turbo Arrow left a few minutes before 3pm, but did not appear to be connected. At least two other Grobs had been active earlier in the afternoon. I did not see the Merseyside Police EC.135, but it may have been there though.

"I did not see the Merseyside Police EC.135, but it may have been there though." It was present, but in new stealth/Invisibility mode.
