The way to display images on NWAN Forum is to post them via a 'host' site. Many use Flickr, a couple still use Photobucket, I use Googledrive, Dropbox is a new one, and there are others. I would think that the place to start is likely 'Flickr' as their free service does allow a fair few images before you need to pay a subscription.
The process is tortuous, but once you know what you are doing, you do get much quicker as the process becomes a routine. First you need to open an account with Flickr.
Then you need on your PC to edit your images down to a width of 1024 somethingorothers to fit the NWAN page. I use Picasa, many use Photoshop - it is a good idea to also crop, straighten, sharpen at this stage to, depending on your PC skills. If you don't downsize the image you fill your Flickr storage space very quickly AND as Proboards downsize your images anyhow as they open on the Forum, the transfer speed slows and for members like myself with weak end-of-the-line internet connection often the images do not open at all!
Upload the images onto Flickr, creating albums as you do so.
Then for each of your images obtain from Flickr a unique code.
Download, copy and paste this code onto a 'compose' page on NWAN inserting forum 'img' code
Add captions/comments and post on NWAN.
That is the process. The nitty-gritty of how to actually 'do' the process has been described in close detail by 'Beemer' on a post "Flickr for Dummies" he linked to only last week in answer to the same question as you have asked. I cannot locate that post just at the moment so likely looking in the wrong place. Brian may well be along shortly and add it into this post as a 'link'.
Your first post of images will take a while, involve swear words and much throwing of the keyboard through the window - once you have done it twice, you will wonder why you got so worked up the first time!
Look forward to seeing your images. The other Brian.
