Seems that an easyJet A320 and a KLM 737 800 on pushback earlier today managed to get pushed into each other. The EZY winglet getting stuck in KLM horizontal stabiliser. Pictures on Yahoo

I really don't know how this happens. Surely the cost of repair can way offset the cost of employing someone to wing marshal theses aircraft back or does it? Seems very strange that the airlines are allowing this to continue. No doubt something to do with the been counters being in control. Surely it must be about time that legislation was brought in to force airlines to pay for more marshals to escort aircraft back safely. It may be cost effective for airlines to let this situation continue but what about the inconvenience to their passengers and the collective cost to them. Maybe the airlines might think twice if they had to compensate for that too. Oh, and before the big boys manage to negotiate an uncompetitive price, it should be placed in law that every airline pays the same price no matter how many times pushbacks occur. www.msn.com/en-gb/travel/news/easyjet-plane-with-brits-on-board-crashes-into-aircraft-at-amsterdam-airport/ar-AAE3vgu?MSCC=1562707618&ocid=spartanntp
