Learjet 60 N500SW was written off when it crash landed at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport, USA. Pilot error was deemed to be the cause of the crash and because of this the insurer has refused to pay out. In the policy the insurer insisted that the pilots must receive simulator training. Unfortunately, this was not provided for the co-pilot by the company. Therefore, The Appellate Court reversed a previous trial court decision and ruled that the insurer does not have to pay. www.claimsjournal.com/news/midwest/2019/07/01/291741.htmaviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20120607-0
