At work last night, I noticed that runway 09 ILS is notamed out of service through 1500z August 8th. So, in effect only RNAV and NDB/DME approaches available on 09 until then, with a resultant higher landing minimums. I did not note the actual minimums for making an approach, but from memory, I think the RNAV minimums were 750m visibility and ceiling something more than 300 feet. The NDB/DME minimums are worse still. 900m / ceiling 360 feet. These are minimum conditions to commence an approach. Runway 27 ILS was also notamed out if service last night through to noon today. Hopefully that was just routine maintenance.

We would hope the weather, unpredictable as it is, wouldn't go to RNAV /NDB etc. limits.27 is the preferred runway anyway. Short term checks are normal, when weather is good.
