Does anyone member or friend of a member, know how you learn to write the sort of business gobbeldegook that Mr Wittaker from Peel holdings put down in his statement relating to the disposal of part of the three airports to the Canadians. As Chairman of a company myself, I can`t recall what sort of degree or business diploma you would get that would enable anyone to put those words together in a sentence, relating to the same topic. ;D

You learn to write gobbledegook by having an over inflated sense of your own importance. It is a North American trend and not one we want to see in this country. Unfortunately it will creep in as the Americans, in particular, continue their take-over of the world and continue to rape our language as part of that strategy.

Well said liverpoolman.
Unfortunately, most of these press releases are drawn up by PR people, many of whom are ex-journalists, and they know how to write them so that the media are keen to pick them up. I doubt if Whittaker actually used any of the words in the press release. I also doubt if he could be heard above the sighs of relief and the champagne corks popping to celebrate the selling off of two lame ducks.

Thanks folks, that input has now empowered me to engage more deeply with clients and employees allowing me too escalate further decisons into the subject beyond the ring fenced conception ideas so far.
