Seen on the ILS @ 14:40hrs this afternoon was G-EGCD Cessna 172 Skyhawk it's registration being a clue to where it was once based, EGCD is the ICAO code for Woodford Aerodrome. I am also lead to believe that it is now a resident but I need confirmation.Shows on FR24 as G-PFCL. G-EGCD Ce172 Skyhawk

Hi Brian
It was never based at Woodford and was only re-registered from G-PFSL on 6th April, long after Woodford was closed in 2011 and subsequently built on. There is obviously a connection there with the use of the old EGCD code and the Avro name, possibly old Avro/BAe employees?
Regards Stuart

Thanks for that Stuart. I knew by printing an error would stir you into action. Beemer.
