An extremely long shot but the Vulcan on static display this year was XL391.
There was also a Vulcan in the flying display which I have no record of the serial, was this another aircraft or was it XL391?
Regards, Mark

There was a very detailed list in the MSAE 'Flypast' magazine compiled by JL Goodger and RA Scholefield for SSAFA Display, Woodford, Saturday 29th June.
Only one Vulcan is in the list XL391 under a section of aircraft 'Static and Flying' - two Shackletons though.
Mark, drop me a PM if you want a scan of the list, including a lengthy list of what was on the production lines at the time.

I have a slide of Vulcan B2 XL391 FLYING at the Woodford show on the 29th June 1968 so it must have both static and flying.
