Sad news but it looks like Vulcan XH558 may not be flying at this years show again. The following is taken from Waddington Airshow's home page....

VULCAN XH558 - 25 June 2010
RAF Waddington Air Show is disappointed to have to announce that there is doubt over whether the planned displays of the Vulcan aircraft XH558 at the RAF Waddington International Airshow will go ahead.
Following intense efforts to repair the port undercarriage on the aircraft, doubt has now been cast as the whether there is sufficient time to secure the necessary permit to fly in time for its display at the Show.
Air Show Director Mr. Colin Reeves said:
“I know that the VOC will be working tirelessly to get the aircraft to the Show so, we are keeping our fingers crossed. For now, the weekend flying programme has been adjusted to not include the Vulcan. But should the aircraft be ready to fly at the Air Show, she would of course be a welcome addition to what is set to be a fantastic weekend. ”
Vulcan Operating Company Operations Director Mr. Mike Pollitt said:
“We are not beaten yet and we are working closely with Marshall’s Aerospace and the CAA, who are giving us tremendous support, to be at Waddington. We will not compromise on safety, however, and we will ensure that the crew is current, flight refreshed and well practiced before the Show. The timeframe is short but achievable but a lot of ducks have to be brought together in a very short time to achieve it.”
RAF Waddington spokesperson Wing Commander Andy Pemberton said:
“Every effort is being made to resolve this issue. Obviously we are fully supportive of the VOC’s desire to bring Vulcan XH558 to this year’s Air Show which will be a spectacular weekend with great displays to see both in the air and on the ground. Obviously, we are still hoping that this work will be completed in sufficient time to allow the Vulcan to display. But we felt that it was important to let people know that there is some doubt.”
