A massive long shot I know, but would anyone happen to know the reg of the Rossair Europe / Trans Travel Airlines Beech 1900D that operated the ROS315 flight on Sunday 02 March 2003

I've had a look through my photos for that period, but don't have anything on the date in question. However, there were only two Beech 1900s that match your description, PH-RAE and PH-RAH. Of these two, PH-RAH had been and gone some months previously, so I'm fairly certain that it must have been PH-RAE which was still around in March PH-RAE, IOM, 11 Dec 02 w by Philip Pain, on Flickr PH-RAH, IOM, 17 Oct 02 w by Philip Pain, on Flickr There were others in service in March 2003, namely PH-RAR and PH-RAT, but PH-RAR was in full "Euromanx" colours, and PH-RAT was in basic Rossair/TTA colours but with "Euromanx" titles. Sorry, should have looked this one up earlier, but knew the flight numbers were not the Liverpool operation, so I could not directly supply an answer. With a 'kick' from "Acklington's" reply, I've dived into the Liverpool enthusiast magazine of the period - the original paper 'North West Air News'. On the Sunday 2nd March 2003 the IoM-LPL rotations were operated as: ROS431/432 by PH-RAR (1230-1300), ROS433/434 by PH-RAT (1530-1600) and ROS411/412 was also op by PH-RAT (1830-1900). The times being those on the ground at Liverpool but taken from the Summer timetable, but generally make sense. I note that 'cover' aircraft PH-RAH had been used the previous weekend and PH-RAE the following weekend, with PH-RAT on all LPL flights for the 4 days before and 5 days afterwards. Rossair used the call-sign 'Catcher', ICAO code ROS on EuroManx flights as the service provider, despite EuroManx having their own ICAO code EMX, c/s 'Euromanx' at the time and used if Woodgate aircraft were involved. Unfortunately the paper NWAN magazine of the time does not detail domestic flights into Manchester. So cannot pin-down which one, but it seems fairly certain the two aircraft needed to run the schedules that weekend were PH-RAR and PH-RAT (unless one of the others was on stand-by at Ronaldsway), so the one you flew on was likely the one not on the Liverpool service at the time! Presume you located this in the Nostalgia section: derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/33527/who-remembers-euromanx-2002-2008

Many thanks Acklington and Viscount, I really appreciate you both taking the time to dig into this historical info. The aircraft that I saw was seen heading towards the Isle of Man from my home in Stockport. I dont know where it originated from now but I assume that it was from the Netherlands based on its westerly heading. Whilst there is no conclusive proof as to which one it will have been, I assume now that it was likely to have been PH-RAR seeing as PH-RAT had operated the Liverpool flights in the days leading up to 02/03/03. It shall have to remain an unknown reg in my log, but at least I can tell myself that it was unlikely to have been the 2 that I never saw (RAE and RAH)
Many thanks again to you both
