Sorry if not in correct section but i could not find a suitable one ! I am not sure if anyone out there can help me with tracking down an article which was in the Flight Path magazine of Cheshire Aviation Society , September 1983 . I have been trying to locate a suitable site or contact for CAS and was directed to North West Air News . Back in 83 I was living at Hawarden whilst stationed at RAF Sealand ( not a place of my choice !) . This married patch had the advantage of a view of the airfield and the 125 production flight line . Great also for the displays at the open days . Now , because of a very mobile life style I had joined various clubs/societies over the years as I moved about and so i was a member of CAS . Also a founder member of the Clwyd Avn. Soc. I tried to contact someone at NWAN to ask my question but it seems i have to join first . I do not live local . I live in North Devon which unfortunately is devoid of aviation and has been a pain during lockdown with virtually nothing to be seen over head ! Anyway , I would like to obtain the information on page SE10 of September 1983 Flight Path magazine . An article on Laker Air Ways . I have a note to this but not the article . Thank you in advance . Chrisj

I passed on all my early '80s 'Flightpath' mags to 'The Aeroplane Collection' library at Hooton Park 4 years ago. However that is no use to you in Devon and I'm now near Malaga so cannot offer to see if they have been kept.
There is a member 'MW5' who has undertaken much research into 60s to 90s movements at Manchester Airport and publishes them, so it could well be has a collection of 'Flightpath' from the right era. If he doesn't spot this thread first, then I'll direct him to it as I'm e-mailing him a bundle of stuff in the next few days.
Or it could well be that another member can help sooner. Good luck with your hunt.
