By e-mail I've been passed on the link to a very interesting 'blog' recalling the times that the group passed through Liverpool, their opinions and many photos. Thanks Eddie for the link, well found. beatlesliverpoollocations.blogspot.com/?m=1The required blog is currently the second down after a reasonable scroll to find the piece 'SHOUT AIRBORNE' entered on 12 July 2020. Having read through, the only error I spotted was that no airline flew Dakotas on holiday flights to Palma from Speke in 1964. The photo with passengers and map are in front of an aircraft in mid-50s style Starways font. On the other hand, while I knew their had been an Autair Viking charter into Speke on Christmas Day 1963, I never knew before that the charter was by Brian Epstein for anyone appearing at the 'Astoria' theatre in London with a Beatles Christmas Show for three weeks, so they could be home in Liverpool for Christmas. Any members with even a remote interest in the Beatles and/or an interest in the Airport in the early 1960s are well advised to take 20 minutes and have a good read through.
