I believe G-YAWW PA-28RT has departed to pastures new, around March time this year. It was noted being re-painted at Bournemouth, but not seen since at Liverpool? The address fro the owner is BARTON AVIATION LTD, WESSEX HOUSE, 66 HIGH STREET, HONITON, EX14 1PD which is near Exeter. Thanks, Simon. Quick check back shows it departed to Bournemouth on 2/2/14. On the plus side, both PA-23 G-OSJF (arr 16/2) and PA-34 G-GFEY (arr 12/1) are now conffirmed resident. Both under same ownership. Online resident list will be duly updated once the April review has been completed. Dave

Hi folks, is the Stearman G-BRUJ still LPL based ? Both this and Tiger Moth G-AMCK are now owned by the same person/company based in the IOM. Although I will not be able to see the May log and do the next review until late June, the Stearman was still here at the end of April, but might have left this month for all I know. I believe the owner also owns SR-22 M-YZZT, which visits fairly regularly. The continued residency of these two is certainly in doubt. Dave

Was it anything to do with the Maltese registered Citation in Sunday or was that just shear coincidence. Maybe it could be transferring to LuxWing. Just a thought. Regards Beemer.

Hunter, you are correct, G-YAWW is back from Bournemouth where she had a back to bare metal respray and a complete engine rebuild. I flew her back on June 20th. Avionics were updated at Tatenhill late 2012 /early 2013 (glass cockpit, upgraded GPS & new autopilot). G-YAWW was originally owned by Joe Varde in the States and registered N2929Y I believe based in Califoria hence some of the modifications. It may be of interest that WW is unusual in having a one piece windscreen, a 'Turbo-Plus' intercooler and cowl flaps. The TurboPlus intercooler gives better 'hot and high' performance at the expense of slightly complicating engine handing (easy to overboost and damage the engine). So I think a unique Arrow IV

Cherokee Arrow G-AVYS which arrived (probably) from the Isle of Man on 22nd February 2014, and has flown rarely since, departed to Oxford on Wednesday 24th September, and was registered to new owners with the CAA the day following.
One for Brian "Beemer" to amend on his resident listing.
