I'll come in with a starter for 10 points .. A Gloster Meteor - mark is difficult to determine though, so maybe only 5 points ? Fighter nose, so F.1, F.4 or F.8 possible. Fin is a recognition point for an F.8, but is not visible. Also without a canopy the cockpit looks long, so maybe a T.7. although the plastic sheet could be playing tricks. No radar nose, so NF. marks ruled out, which I think the IDF did briefly use.

Well done 'Owensy' ! The 'dust covers' are parachutes, and parachutes and Meteors means Martin Baker, as does the 'Israeli' cockpit mock-up in the background. WA638, Martin Baker, Fairford, 11 July 18 (9) pw by Philip Pain, on Flickr It is WA638, a Meteor T.7/8, held in store for many years as a reserve aircraft at Chalgrove. Later it was brought into service to join WL419, and as far as I'm aware both are still airworthy at Chalgrove, although one witness who lives locally says that they only fly about four times a year.
