The Channel Islands state of Guernsey, which currently own Aurigny air services, have agreed in principle to selling the airline to Blue Islands, therefore eliminating competition between the two airlines. It looks like the first part of the operation to be looked at will be the inter island flights, and the current link between Southampton and Alderney, all flown by Trislander aircraft,I would expect only two Trislanders from the current combined fleet of nine to be in place this time next year, and possiby services to Aldeney at worst axed, or serverely cut back.I urge anybody who has not sampled a flight on a Trislander from Jersey to Alderney via Geurnsey to do it as soon as possible, before the passing of this unique aviation experience is gone forever.I travelled to Jersey last year to fly on these aircraft and it was superb,Anyone needing any help let me know and I can advise from my experience down there.
